Current data collection

This site counts decision-tool page views, starts, completions, and storefront clicks only as daily totals by project, language, and source channel. Product-catalog and policy-page views are not included in the decision-tool view count. It stores no cookies, IP addresses, user agents, referrer URLs, search terms, query strings, visitor, session or device IDs, or individual timestamps. Inputs in public decision tools stay on the device and are never sent or stored.

Advertising and commercial links

This site links to its own paid products on note and Patreon and receives revenue when a purchase is completed. No advertising or tracked affiliate link is currently active. Before future advertising is enabled, we will identify the provider, cookie and consent behavior, and commercial relationship here and at the relevant placement, and meet applicable regional consent requirements. Advertising and sales do not change editorial decisions.

Editorial policy

Facts that can change, including prices, specifications, and terms, carry a verification date and official primary source. We separate inference, hands-on use, and measured results, and never use a pen name to imply credentials or personal experience. Confirmed errors are corrected.
